MARIA NIKLIŃSKA - "Maria"

Maria Niklińska nie lubi, kiedy się ją postrzega w kontekście swej słynnej mamy. I słusznie – bo wybrała całkiem inną drogę życiową. Co prawda za młodu trochę flirtowała z telewizją, ale ostatecznie zwróciła się w stronę aktorstwa. I poszło jej całkiem dobrze, o czym świadczą sukcesy w telewizji i teatrze.Muzyka nie była jej obca od dziecka. Uczyła się bowiem grać na fortepianie, potem próbowała swoich sił w piosence aktorskiej, czasem wykorzystywała swe wokalne umiejętności na scenie. Aż w końcu na jej artystycznej drodze pojawił się Marcin Kindla, wokalista, tekściarz i kompozytor, działający trochę na uboczu polskiej sceny, ale mający na swym koncie również komercyjne sukcesy.

Efektem tej współpracy jest płyta "Maria". Zwiastowały ją dwie piosenki – "Na północy" i "Ile jeszcze" – które ozdobiły dwa mocno erotyczne wideoklipy. Już to sporo nam mówi o zawartości albumu. Wszystkie wypełniające ją nagrania opowiadają o różnych odcieniach miłości, i tej zmysłowej, i tej romantycznej. Zgrabnie komponuje się to z muzyką, która z jednej strony jest nowoczesna, a z drugiej – śmiało flirtuje z oldskulowymi brzmieniami.

Spora część piosenek to przestrzenne ballady zaaranżowane w stylu lat 60., w których Maria nieco przypomina Lanę Del Rey. To przede wszystkim zaśpiewane po angielsku "Dreamin’" i "Red Eyes", ale też wspomniane wcześniej "Na północy" i "Ile jeszcze". Najlepszym z tych utworów jest ten ostatni – bo ma tak chwytliwy refren, że zapamiętujemy go już po pierwszym usłyszeniu. Druga strona płyty to nagrania odwołujące się do modnego zarówno w latach 80., jak i obecnie synth-popu. Tym razem aranżacje mają elektroniczny charakter – a Maria nadaje im swoim śpiewem bardziej energetyczny charakter. Najlepszym tego efektem jest "Another Lover", ale całkiem dobrze wypadają też "Płać!" i "Na pięć".

Wątpliwości budzi centrum albumu. Trafiły nań ballady o przaśnym charakterze, kojarzące się nazbyt z wcześniejszymi dokonaniami Kindli, niestety, bliskimi twórczości Stachursky’ego. To najsłabsze piosenki w zestawie – "Jeśli tylko chcesz" i "Zapytam". Broni się jedynie "Lubisz tak" – bo choć aranżacja przywodzi nazbyt natrętnie na myśl dawne hity Chrisa Rei (ta bluesowa gitara!), to kompozycja ujmuje wdzięcznym refrenem.

Generalnie jednak "Maria" brzmi zachęcająco. Większość piosenek ma dobre melodie i została nieźle wyprodukowana, a śpiewająca je aktorka potrafiła nasycić muzykę autentyczną emocjonalnością. Nagrania te sprawdzą się więc najlepiej w domowym zaciszu – choćby podczas romantycznego wieczoru we dwoje. Gdyby jednak Niklińska chciała je zaprezentować na koncertach – na pewno nie zabraknie chętnych do zobaczenia jej na scenie.

And it went quite well, as evidenced by successes on television and teatrze.Muzyka was not foreign to her since childhood. And finally on her artistic way he appeared Marcin Kindle vocalist, lyricist and composer, working a little bit on the sidelines of the Polish scene, but having to his credit also commercially successful.

The result of this cooperation is the album "Maria". Heralded her two songs - "In the north," and "How many more" - which decorated two strong erotic videos. Already it tells us a lot about the content of the album. All filling her recordings talk about the different shades of love, and the sensual, and the romantic. This fits neatly with the music, which on the one hand, it is modern, and on the other - boldly flirts with oldskulowymi sounds.

Much of the songs are ballads space arranged in the style of the 60s, in which Maria somewhat reminiscent of Lana Del Rey. It is primarily sung in English "Dreamin '" and "Red Eyes", but also the previously mentioned "the north" and "How many more". The best of these works is the latter - because he has such a catchy chorus that we remember him after the first hearing. The other side of the plate is recorded referring to both fashionable in the 80s and now synth-pop. This time the arrangements are electronic in nature - and Maria gives them their singing more energetic character. The best result is "Another Lover", but also fall out quite well "Pay!" and "Five".
