Najnowszy album Davida Bowie zatytułowany "Blackstar" ukaże się 8 stycznia 2016 r. Pojawi się w sprzedaży cyfrowej, na CD i w specjalnej wersji winylowej.
Fragment singla "Blackstar" usłyszeć można w czołówce nowego serialu telewizyjnego "The Last Panthers", również w reżyserii Johana Rencka.

Album "Blackstar" ukaże się trzy lata po niespodziewanym powrocie muzyka z płytą "The Next Day". Na płycie znajdzie się siedem nowych utworów, więcej szczegółów nie jest na razie znanych.
