Pozornie wydawałoby się, że to dość monolityczny zestaw, ponieważ "Delirium" ma mocno ekspresyjne brzmienie, głównie oparte o wywiedzioną z EDM elektronikę. Uważniejsze wsłuchanie się w muzykę z płyty wskazuje jednak, że Ellie pozwala sobie na zgrabną żonglerkę stylami i cytatami z klasyki i współczesności muzyki pop.

Umieszczony niemal tuż na wstępie "Aftertaste" zaskakuje zwiewnym disco w stylu Kylie Minogue. Dla odmiany "Something In The Way You Move" przywołuje wspomnienie słynnych przebojów Fleetwood Mac z okresu "Tango In The Night". Więcej tanecznej energii wnosi dancehallowe "Keep On Dancin’", jakby żywcem wyjęte z ostatniej płyty Majora Lazera. Już przed wydaniem "Delirium" brytyjska piosenkarka jasno deklarowała, że chce nagrać klasyczny album pop pełen melodyjnych piosenek. I tak się też stało. Krążek wypełniają świetnie napisane, wykonane i wyprodukowane nagrania, z których niemal każdy może zawojować listy przebojów.
